Okay, so I wanted to see how well I could do in the Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact today. I’ve been playing for a while, but I’m no expert, just a regular player. It’s version 4.8, so I figured I’d try out some teams and see what happened.

Getting Started
First, I looked at the enemies in the Abyss. You gotta know what you’re up against, right? I checked the blessings too, those little buffs you get each cycle. Seemed like nothing too crazy this time, just the usual stuff that favors certain elements, so I could follow some general team ideas. I do not remenber every enemies but that it’s not that important.
Team Building Time
For the first half, I always try using a good Main DPS, and some support, I picked my best characters, not perfect but decent. Then I added two sub-DPS characters, cause why not deal some more demage! So that was my first team ready.
- First Half Team: My Main DPS + two Sub-DPS, and a Healer.
For the second half, I am always struggling. I tried a different combo, with a focus on elemental reactions, but that don’t always works. My characters are not super well-built, but you know, I’m just playing for fun.I went with another good Main DPS that I have, and I paired her with some elemental supports to create reactions like Vaporize or Melt, hopefully.
- Second Half Team: My Second Main DPS + some Elemental Support, and a Healer.
The Actual Abyss Run
I jumped into the Abyss, and things were… okay. The first few chambers were pretty easy, just smashing through everything. My first team worked pretty well, as usual for the first chambers. But then it started to get harder, like it always does.
I had to retry a few times because, well, I’m not the best at dodging. And my second team, It’s always more difficult… Some of my supports died pretty quickly a couple of times. Classic. I switched up the order of my skills a bit, trying to get the reactions at the right time. It’s all a bit of a mess, to be honest, lots of button mashing.
The Results
Eventually, I managed to clear all the floors, but not with full stars. I think I got like 6 or 7 stars total? Something like that. Not amazing, but hey, I did it! I’m always happy if I can clear it. It took me a bunch of tries, and I definitely learned a few things about which of my characters work well together, and which ones… don’t. For me, the most important it to have fun!
Next time, I might try some different characters builds. Always trying to get better, that’s part of the game, and getting all rewards, primogems are important!
