My Trip to the Lighthouse Drug Lab
Alright, so today I felt like hitting up Lighthouse in Tarkov. Decided I wanted to check out that drug lab spot everyone talks about, see what the fuss was, maybe grab some loot. Didn’t go in too geared, just grabbed my usual AK setup and some half-decent armor, figuring I’d probably die anyway, you know how Tarkov is.

Spawned in near the USEC cottages, not too bad. Weather was kinda gloomy. First thing, gotta be careful. Listened for a bit, didn’t hear immediate shots nearby, which was nice for a change. Started moving towards the main chalet area, sticking to the tree lines mostly. Saw some movement way down by the water treatment plant, but decided not to engage. Not my fight today.
Getting closer to the big houses, I started hearing Scavs yelling. Typical. Had to crouch-walk quite a bit, peeking around rocks and trees. Spotted one Scav near the entrance of the main chalet, the one with the helipad thingy. Lined up a shot, dropped him pretty clean. Waited a sec, listened again. Silence. Good.
Inside the Chalet
Okay, time to go in. Pushed the door open carefully, cleared the first floor. Seemed quiet. Heard some shuffling upstairs maybe? Or was that just the wind? Decided to head down to the basement first, figured that’s where the “lab” part is supposed to be.
Crept down the stairs. Man, it’s dark down there. Flipped on my flashlight quick bursts. Yep, definitely looks like some kind of makeshift lab. Tables with chemistry gear, hoses, containers, the whole deal. Kinda messy, looked like someone left in a hurry.
- Checked the shelves first. Found some meds, bandages, painkillers. Always useful.
- Scanned the tables. Picked up a couple of chemical containers, might be worth something.
- Found an Injector case on a crate! Nice. Didn’t have anything super rare inside this time, but still good.
While I was looting, I definitely heard footsteps upstairs. Clear as day this time. Someone else was in the house. My heart started pounding, you know the feeling. Grabbed my gun tight, turned off the flashlight, and just listened from the bottom of the stairs.
Getting Outta Dodge
Heard them moving around, looting the main floor. Sounded like a single person, maybe a PMC. Didn’t feel like pushing it, I already got some decent stuff and found the lab. Decided my best bet was to just sneak back out the way I came in, hopefully while they were distracted upstairs.
Slowly backed up the stairs, peeked the corner. Coast was clear for now. Made a dash for the front door, didn’t look back. Ran straight out and headed towards the Path to Shoreline extract, hoping nobody saw me leave the chalet.
The run to the extract felt super long. Kept looking over my shoulder, expecting a shot any second. But nope, made it there clean. Extracted successfully. Phew, another raid survived. The lab wasn’t stacked with insane loot this time, but it was definitely an interesting spot to visit, and getting out alive on Lighthouse always feels like a win. Good run overall.
