Alright, so check it out, I messed around with something kinda cool today โ a bragged crossword puzzle! Let me walk you through how it went down.
First off, I grabbed the basic crossword puzzle structure online. You know, just a blank grid with the numbers already in place. Nothing fancy, just the bare bones.
Then, I started brainstorming words. My whole angle was to make it, like, a super self-congratulatory crossword. Think words that describe how awesome I am… or at least, how I think I am, haha!
Next up, the real work: fitting the words into the grid. This was way harder than I thought! I kept having to swap words out because the letters just weren’t lining up right. I literally spent like an hour just shifting letters around and trying different combinations.
After that, I wrote the clues. This was the fun part! I made them super over-the-top and ridiculous. Like, instead of “Smart person,” the clue would be “The brainiest genius the world has ever seen (that’s you!).” You get the idea.
Then, I tested it out. I got my roommate to try and solve it. He rolled his eyes the whole time, but he actually got most of the answers! So, success, I guess?
Finally, I cleaned up the whole thing and made it look presentable. It’s not perfect, but hey, it’s a bragged crossword. It’s supposed to be a little over the top. Here’s the final result:
