Okay, so I’ve been grinding in Wuthering Waves, and let me tell you, getting Sanhua to ascend is a real pain, but totally worth it. I wanted to share my experience, might save you some time and frustration.

My Sanhua Ascension Journey
First, I focused on getting Sanhua’s level up. This meant doing a bunch of quests and, you know, just playing the game. I tried to prioritize quests that I knew would give me good EXP rewards. I can not avoid those easy but rewards-low quests, just do it and do not think too much.
Next, came the real challenge: collecting all those materials. These things don’t just drop everywhere, mind you.
- Belle Poppy: Oh boy, this was an adventure. I used an online interactive map to track them down because they’re scattered around the map.
It took a while to find my way to get them. Don’t even try to explore without some tools, it’s frustrating.
- Sound-Keeping Tacet Core: I farmed the Lampylumen Myriad boss like crazy. This boss is no joke, so I had to make sure my team was strong enough.
I’ve tried several team comps and get the most comfort one.
- Shell Credits: Well, I think this won’t bother you because I’ve done so many tasks to get other materials, and I get a ton of Shell Credits during that time.
But, I have spent lots of them. Do not be me.
After getting all the Belle Poppies, I could finally start ascending Sanhua. The feeling of finally having enough materials was amazing. It felt like all that hard work was paying off.
Then I went back to the Lampylumen Myriad and defeated it a few more times. It was much easier this time since I knew its attack patterns. And, of course, there’s the Shell Credits grind, but hey, that’s just part of the game, right?
Finally, I had everything! I went to the ascension screen and hit that button. Watching Sanhua get stronger was super satisfying. Now she’s even more powerful and I’m ready to take on tougher challenges.

It’s my victory, my reward, and my pleasure!
So, yeah, that’s my Sanhua ascension story. It’s not easy, but it’s definitely achievable if you’re persistent. Good luck to everyone else trying to ascend her!
