Well, folks, it’s that time of year again – 2023 is coming to a close. I decided to do something a bit different to celebrate, something I hadn’t done in a while: diving into a game of Monopoly GO!. But not just any regular game, they had this event going on called “Fortune Countdown.” Sounded interesting, right?
Getting Started
First, I downloaded the app. It was pretty easy to find on the app store. Once I got it up and running, this Fortune Countdown thing was right there. The whole idea is you play regular Monopoly, but you also get extra stuff by landing on certain spots. They said something about earning up to 15, so I figured, why not? I mean, who doesn’t like free stuff?
Playing the Game
- I started rolling the dice, moving around the board, you know, the usual Monopoly stuff.
- I bought some properties, tried to bankrupt the other players. It was actually kind of fun, brought back some old memories.
- Every now and then, I’d land on one of those special Fortune Countdown squares. That’s when I’d get some extra goodies, which was pretty neat.
The game said that the event goes on until December 30, 2023, so I’ve still got some time to play and rack up those rewards. I played for a couple of hours. It’s a nice way to kill some time, especially when you’re just hanging out at home.
Thoughts and More Playing
Honestly, I had a good time with it. It’s an easy game to get into, and this Fortune Countdown event adds a little extra excitement. It’s not every day you get rewarded just for playing a game, so I’m planning on playing a bit more before the event ends. Plus, it was a fun way to say goodbye to 2023. If you’re looking for something to do, maybe give it a shot. Just don’t blame me if you get addicted!
