Okay, so check it, the other day I was trying to catch the Lakers game, right? And I was like, “Man, where am I gonna stream this thing?” I’m too cheap to pay for all those sports channels, you know?

First thing I did was just Google “watch nba free,” you know, the usual. Got a bunch of sketchy looking sites. Most of ’em were just pop-up farms, like clickbait central. I ain’t got time for that, and I definitely don’t want some virus messin’ with my computer.
Then I remembered someone mentioning something called “buffstream” before. So, I Googled “watch nba buffstream.” A few links popped up, and I clicked on the first one that looked legit. It took me to this page that was pretty basic, not gonna lie. Looked like it was straight outta the early 2000s, haha.
But, and this is a big but, they had a list of NBA games that were currently being played. And there were a bunch of links next to each game. I figured, “Alright, let’s see what we got here.”
- Clicked on the first link for the Lakers game. Pop-up. Closed it.
- Clicked on the second link. Another pop-up! Closed it again. Starting to get annoyed, ngl.
- Third link…BINGO! Finally got a stream.
The stream quality wasn’t amazing, like, definitely not HD. More like…SD from back in the day. And it was buffering every now and then, which was a pain. But hey, it was free, right? Gotta take what you can get.
I fiddled around with the volume, closed a few more pop-ups that tried to sneak in, and eventually got it to a watchable state. Managed to catch most of the game, even though I had to refresh the page a couple of times when the stream died. Lakers won, so it was worth the hassle, I guess.
Important note: I’m not saying this is the best way to watch NBA games, and I definitely don’t know if it’s totally legal or anything. Just sharing my experience. Always be careful clicking on stuff online, especially on these kinda sites. Use an ad blocker, maybe a 加速器, and don’t download anything they tell you to download. You’ve been warned!
Next time, I might actually just pay for a streaming service. This whole buffstream thing was a bit of a headache, even though it technically worked.
