Alright, so fantasy football season is breathing down our necks again. Did my draft the other night, feeling pretty good about the squad. Pretty basic, right? Felt a bit lazy. Knew I could do better, or at least find something a bit more creative someone else already thought of.

Man, there are a lot of lists out there. Some good, some terrible. You see the same ones repeated a lot. Lots of Taylor Swift puns, naturally. Stuff like “Shake It Off” (though maybe less relevant now he’s not with Goff), “Swift Kick to the Groin”, “Taylor Made for Swift”. Some were okay, but I wasn’t feeling the Taylor connection too much this year.
I spent probably a good 20 minutes just scrolling, reading, and thinking. Filtered out the ones that felt too forced or weren’t really my style. I like something that’s clever but not too clever, if that makes sense? Needs to be easy for the league chat to get.
Narrowing Down the Options
After digging around, I had a better list of contenders. Here are a few I kinda liked:
- Swift Action (Simple, clean)
- Swifty Business (Like Risky Business, kinda fun)
- Swift Revenge Tour (Got that edge to it)
- Can’t Catch Swift (A bit boastful, I like it)
- Swiftly Moving On (Good if you dropped a player maybe?)
- D’Andre the Giant Slayer (If he has a big game against a top team)
Saw some others referencing his speed, like “Gone in a Swift Second” or playing on his jersey number, but those felt a bit meh to me.
Honestly, I’m still kind of mulling it over. Leaning towards Swifty Business or maybe Swift Action. Gotta decide before the first matchup locks. It’s always this weird little ritual, finding that name. But hey, it’s part of the fun of fantasy football, right? Getting everything just perfect before the season kicks off.
