Getting Those UF Soccer Tickets
Alright, so I decided I wanted to go see a University of Florida soccer game. Heard they had a decent team this year, and it sounded like a fun way to spend an afternoon. The first thing I did, naturally, was hop on my computer.
I pulled up their main athletics page. Took me a second, gotta admit, navigating through all the football and basketball stuff. Found the schedule, then drilled down specifically to soccer. Okay, game date confirmed, opponent locked in. Now, the important part: tickets.
Saw a ‘Tickets’ button, clicked on that. It wasn’t super complicated, thankfully. They had options for different sports. I made sure I was on the soccer page. Didn’t seem like there were assigned seats, mostly general admission stuff for soccer, which is fine by me. Makes things easier.
Finding the Right Spot
So I clicked the link for the specific game I wanted. It bounced me over to what looked like their official ticket seller system. Had to figure out if I needed to log in or create an account. I think I already had one from ages ago for some other event, so I just logged in. If you don’t have one, you’d need to set that up first, usual stuff – name, email, password.
Once I was in, it was pretty straightforward:
- Selected the number of tickets I needed. Just a couple for me and a friend.
- Added them to my cart.
- Double-checked the game date and time – don’t want to mess that up.
The Checkout Bit
Then came the checkout. Confirmed the tickets in the cart again. Had to put in my payment details – credit card number, expiration, the usual drill. Yeah, there were some fees tacked on, always happens, kinda annoying but expected. Nothing outrageous, though.
Hit the ‘Purchase’ button and crossed my fingers. Took a few seconds, then bam – confirmation screen popped up. Success! Got an email almost immediately too, confirming the order. That always makes me feel better, knowing it actually went through.
Getting the Actual Tickets
The email said the tickets would be mobile delivery. A little later, maybe an hour or so, another email came through with the actual tickets or a link to access them on my phone. I pulled them up on my phone’s wallet app just to make sure they loaded okay. Yep, barcode and everything looked good.
So, that was that. Process wasn’t too bad, honestly. Just involved a bit of clicking around on the athletics site, logging into the ticket portal, and punching in my payment info. Now I’ve got the tickets on my phone, ready for game day. Looking forward to it.
