Okay, so I was stumped by this crossword clue today – “zodiac symbol.” I’m usually pretty good at these, but my mind just went blank. I stared at it for a good five minutes, racking my brain for all the zodiac signs.
First, I tried listing them out in my head: Aries, Taurus, Gemini… Nope, none of those seemed to fit the number of spaces. Then, I thought about the symbols themselves. You know, the ram, the bull, the twins. Still nothing.
My Little Help
I decided to grab a pen and paper – sometimes writing things down helps me. I wrote out the letters I already had in the crossword, trying to see if any zodiac signs would pop out. I Played around by entering any word from the zodiac I found, I did it for a while but nothing!
Finally, I gave in and did a quick online search for “zodiac symbols list.” I know, I know, it’s kinda cheating, but I was getting desperate! And there it was, a neat little table with all the signs and their corresponding symbols.
- Aries – The Ram
- Taurus – The Bull
- Gemini – The Twins
- and so on…
As soon as I saw the list, the answer slapped me in the face. It was “Libra”! The scales! I felt so silly for not remembering it, but hey, it happens. I quickly filled in the answer, and boom, another crossword puzzle bites the dust.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with a seemingly simple crossword clue. It just goes to show that even the most obvious things can trip you up sometimes. But hey, at least I learned (or re-learned) something today, right?
