Eight years is a long time, like waitin’ for the rain in the summer. For eight seasons, no captain. Then Derek Jeter, he came along. He good at baseball, that one.
But this politics stuff, that’s a whole other ball game, ain’t it? Heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the general store the other day. They say he don’t talk much ’bout his thinkin’ on that.
