Alright, guys, so I decided I wanted to snag a Mookie Betts autographed baseball. I’m a huge Dodgers fan, and Mookie is, well, Mookie. He’s amazing!

First thing I did was start hunting online. I figured that was the easiest way to find a bunch of options and compare prices. I looked at a few different places that sell signed memorabilia.
I gotta say, it was a little overwhelming at first. There’s so many different listings, different prices, and different authentication companies. It makes your head spin. So, I decided to do a little more research. I needed to figure out which of these authentication companies were legit. I definitely didn’t want to end up with a fake!
After digging around online a bit, I narrowed it down to a few of the big names in authentication. I felt a lot more comfortable sticking with those. Then it was back to looking at baseballs.
I focused on listings that had clear pictures. I wanted to see the signature up close, check out the condition of the ball, and make sure the authentication sticker or certificate was visible. I found a few that looked promising.
- One was a really nice-looking ball with a bold signature.
- Another was a bit cheaper, but the signature wasn’t quite as clear.
- And there was one that was game-used, which was super cool, but also way more expensive.
I went back and forth for a while, weighing the pros and cons. I decided to go with the one that had the best-looking signature, even though it was a little more expensive than the second option. I figured it was worth it to get something I’d be really happy with.
I placed my order and then the waiting game began.
The Arrival!
Finally, the package arrived! I was like a kid on Christmas morning. I carefully opened it up, and there it was – my Mookie Betts autographed baseball! It looked even better in person than it did in the pictures. The signature was perfect, and the authentication sticker was right there.

I’m super stoked with my purchase. Now I just need to find the perfect display case for it!
