Okay, so I decided to dive deep into TFT Set 10, and man, it’s a whole new world compared to previous sets. I wanted to figure out the best champs and team comps, so I started by, well, just playing a bunch of games.

First thing I did was read through all the champion abilities and traits. There’s a ton of new stuff, like the Headliner mechanic, where one champ gets a boosted trait. It sounded cool, but also kinda confusing at first.
So, I jumped into some normal games. I didn’t really have a plan, just picked champs that looked interesting or had traits that seemed to synergize. It was… messy. I got absolutely crushed a few times. My economy was all over the place, I was rolling randomly, and I had no idea what items to build.
After a few rough games, I started to notice some patterns. Certain champs, like Kennen, always seemed to do well. That True Damage trait is *, the Crowd Divers, man, they leap around a lot! I started experimenting with the units more.
- Try to focus on a select few champions.
- Find a balance team.
Then I started focusing on my economy. I learned to not roll too much early, save up gold, and hit those interest breakpoints. It made a huge difference. I could actually afford to level up and get those higher-cost champs that really carry the late game.
Experimenting with Comps
I tried a bunch of different comps, some worked, some… didn’t. I spent a lot of time in the normal game mode to try various combinations.
- I got really into K/DA for a while, getting that 7 K/DA bonus felt amazing, Ahri and Akali can do insane damage with the right items.
- I messed around with Country a bunch too. It’s hilarious watching that Hecarim charge in.
- I also found that some of the 4-cost champs, like Caitlyn and Ezreal, are super strong, even without a ton of trait synergy.
I kept notes on what seemed to work, and what didn’t. Tried different item combinations. I also watched some streams of top players to see what they were doing. It helped me understand some of the more complex strategies, like when to pivot to a different comp, or how to position my units to counter specific threats.
It was a lot of trial and error, a lot of learning, and a lot of fun. I’m still no expert, but I’m definitely getting better. And I’m having a blast figuring out all the crazy combinations this set has to offer.
