Alright, so you wanna know about this Gloria James, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, I heard some things, you know, the kind of stuff folks whisper about over fences and at the grocery store. Don’t expect no fancy words from me, I just tell it like it is.

Life throws some curveballs, that’s for sure.
Now, Akron, that’s a place where folks work hard. Gloria, she was no different. Struggled to make ends meet, you know, keepin’ food on the table and a roof over their heads. Single mama, that’s what she was. And a young one at that. Times were tough, but she did what she had to do.
